P-House has been one of Tokyo's more interesting alternative art spaces, hosting exhibitions, events and gatherings since the mid 1990s. In 1996 they showed genitalia-mutant sculptures by Jake and Dinos Chapman and have initiated many experimental events. The original P-House was located in Ebisu and closed around 4 years ago. They are re-opening in a new space in Roppongi on July 29th. The opening party is from 1pm - 10pm on the 29th with a ¥1200 entrance fee. hi roger
nina here-from yoke and zoom! how are you and your long strips.
(I am sending this to you and Gavin Wade....so gavin ignore my chit chat!!!)
just had a look on your ait site and saw about the art-it magazine- thats brilliant.I am really intrested in that.
Me and ALex are doing our MAs- me in curating- at dartington in devon and alex in Urban Design at birmingham school of architecture- some good crossovers between them.
We are also working on a project with curator Gavin Wade , looking at Buckminster Fullers 40 strategic questions from Utopia or Oblivion- we are answering the question: What is Integration?
So we are trying to get it made as a publication on an inflight magazine. Flying from Birmingham International Airport(our local) to use airspace as a tool of integration. So i have just thought maybe it would be good to use it on an inflight mag to tokyo and translate it into Japanese also. We are really keen to come back and work in tokyo as our phoenix and storm who miss all the toys. Hitomi is staying at a friends in london i met with her last week. But if we did link it with tokyo could we look at you or AIT spreading the word in tokyo- it can also be a good chance to integrate independant curators/you and gavin.
Anyway- ramble ramble
looking into airlines at moment
Ps: are you doing residencys in AIT- we want to visit
nina(and alex)
