I had a call from my supervisor at the citizenship office of Tokyo-City just after 1pm today.
He told me that the Home Minister (presumably still Liberal Democratic party) approved my naturalization on September 2 2009.
He congratulated me.
It was 1:16pm.
I sat at my desk and snapped three photographs on the computer.
I closed my eyes feeling for any slight perturbations in the identity energy field.
Nothing.
Ellen began to coo and babble in the other room.

Dear Roger,
I work for Brilliant Star, a non-profit children's magazine published by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of the United States. We saw a photo of Mark Tobey playing a flute in this blog, and wondered how we might track it down for possible publication with an article we're doing about the artist. Can you help?
